You may change the message as you deam necessary.

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,

I’m writing on behalf of supporters of the Hartwood Acres Celebration of Lights.  It is a wonderful event that supports Project Bundle Up, which is a great charity that helps many families and individuals in our region.  And it breaks my heart that this event is not happening for a second year, and will again not be there to help Project Bundle Up.

I strongly urge you and other Allegheny County officials to please figure out a way for this event to happen next year.  Whether it is put on by the county or through other means.  It would mean a lot to us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and I hope that you have a wonderful day and a great Christmas season!

Sincerely,

(Insert name here)

Just a few things that I ask you do as you write your Christmas letter(s) County Executive Fitzgerald.

1 - Please keep in mind that this letter is not meant as an attack against Mr. Fitzgerald,  It's meant to be a kindly written letter.  A rude card may be taken the wrong way.

2 - As I was unable to find a design to place on the site, we will all (including myself) be getting our own Christmas cards to send into his office.  So be creative, if you want let your kids make their own, however you would like to do it.

3 - Remeber when sending the letter that you have used the right address.  It would be unfortunate if your letter did not make it and was not heard.

4 - Write the letter as you wish.  The message that I have placed to the left is meant as an example.  You may use it as a reference, make up your own message or use it word for word if you wish.

And just a final note.  I want to thank you and all of the supporters for being so dedicated and helping raise awareness that we want this event to continue!
